Our beauty + SPF products are:

- Made with non-nano zinc oxide as the active filter - a 100% mineral, broad-spectrum SPF
- Free from chemical UV filters, parabens, phthalates, silicones, synthetic fragrance, and known hormone disruptors
- TGA-registered and developed under strict Australian safety standards
And we go further. We will never include any known endocrine disruptors in our formulas - ever, and we will always push for cleaner ingredients. Where there is a better alternative, we’ll use it. Our Brand Story
Finding my spark again - this is how Sol Sista Co. began.
I’m Britt James - photographer, surfer, mum of two and founder of Sol Sista Co.
In 2020, during the chaos of postpartum life and COVID lockdowns, I felt completely lost. I’d forgotten who I was beneath the noise of daily life. But something shifted the moment I paddled out into the cold ocean swells off the Surf Coast. That water became my reset. My ritual. My return to self.
But with all that time outdoors came another struggle: dry, damaged, sun-stressed skin. After endless searching there were no products that actually worked with my lifestyle.
Everything felt too greasy, too messy, too many chemicals & too complicated. So I started dreaming of something better:
A high-performance SPF and skincare that felt beautiful, natural, and genuinely made for women like me - women who thrive outside.
That’s how Sol Sista Co. was born.
A reminder that beauty can be simple, conscious, and empowering. That spending time in nature isn’t selfish - it’s essential. And that when women feel confident in their own skin, they reconnect with who they really are.
