How to Use & Keep

Apply liberally every morning after your skincare routine and before makeup. Reapply every 2 hours, especially after swimming, sweating, or towel drying.
Minimise prolonged sun exposure and follow reapplication guidelines. Sunscreen is only one part of sun protection. Always wear a hat, protective clothing, and sunglasses when outdoors.

Storage:Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place.

Important:Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on damaged or broken skin. Discontinue use if rash or irritation occurs and seek medical advice. For external use only.

Our BUTTA BLOCK™️ tubes are made from post-consumer recycled plastic (PCRP) and are fully recyclable, while our box cartons are crafted from certified FSC card. All packing materials are made from 100% recycled materials and are also fully recyclable. Not sure how to recycle?     We made BUTTA BLOCK™ SPF 50+ Tinted Mineral Sunscreen Balm because nothing out there truly did it all. Most outdoor sunscreens felt heavy, greasy or chalky — or were packed with chemical actives we didn’t want on our skin every day. And while the “pretty” sunscreens looked nice, they didn’t hold up to real life in the sun or the ocean. No water resistance. No staying power.

    What shade should I pick?

    BUTTA BLOCK™ SPF 50+ Tinted Mineral Beauty Zinc™ is designed to be flexible across skin tones, as the formula melts and blends beautifully into the skin.

    Sand is best for light to fair skin tones

    Tan suits light to medium skin tones

    Deep Tan is ideal for tanned and olive skin tones

    We’re always evolving and listening — more shades are on the roadmap, with plans to expand the range in 2026.

    Is it non-nano zinc?

    Yes. We only use non-nano zinc in all of our formulas and we are certified Reef Safe. Our sunscreen is 100% mineral-filter based and naturally driven — true Outdoor Beauty™.

    Do you sell samples?

    We don’t currently offer samples. However, we have a growing list of stockists who do carry testers. You can find your nearest one via the Stockists tab at the bottom of our website.

    What if I choose the wrong shade?

    As this is a sunscreen product, we’re unable to offer refunds or exchanges on products that have been opened or used. If you’ve selected the wrong shade in a bundle and the product is unopened and unused, please contact our customer care team at hey@solsistacollective.com and we’ll do our best to help.

    Is it water resistant?

    Yes. BUTTA BLOCK™ has been tested and certified to be water and sweat resistant for up to four hours — built for real-life Outdoor Beauty™.
